Our story
The office traces its origins to the entrepreneurial activity of the Villemin family. The capital it stewards today was built through decades of enterprise and disciplined reinvestment. It carries the habits of its origin: patience, prudence and a preference for substance over show.
J. Villemin Capital was established in 1995 to give that capital a permanent home: a single office responsible for investments, structures and the family’s long-term interests. Headquartered in Miami, with a presence in Luxembourg, the office is built to operate across borders as naturally as the family it serves.
Today, the office directs a portfolio spanning private companies, real assets and global markets. Its mandate has not changed since the first day: preserve, compound, and pass on more than was received.
Capital, in our experience, rewards those who respect it and punishes those who perform with it. We were taught to treat it as something held in trust, built by one generation and owed to the next.

The office operates from Miami, where investment decisions are taken and relationships are managed. Family holdings are organised through dedicated entities in the United States and in Europe, each with a defined role.
The structure is deliberately private. Further detail is shared with counterparties where an engagement requires it.
J. Villemin Capital is a private family office. It does not provide services to the public and does not manage third-party capital.
Oversight
Positions and exposures are reviewed on a consolidated basis, across custodians and jurisdictions, on a defined calendar.
Counsel
The office retains independent legal, tax and audit advisers of institutional standing in each jurisdiction where it operates.
Continuity
Succession and continuity arrangements are documented, so that the office outlasts any single individual.
